NBSC receives commendation for exceptional support to the 52nd Engineering Brigade, Philippine Army

Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – In a momentous celebration of the 52nd Engineer Brigade Philippine Army’s founding anniversary, Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) was appreciated as one of the best stakeholders, recognizing the school’s exceptional support and outstanding contributions to the 52nd Engineering Brigade, Philippine Army community. The Stakeholders Awarding aims to recognize the 52nd ECB partners, both from the Civilian Sectors and AFP Counterpart Units, on the remarkable achievements of the Unit in intensifying its programs, particularly in the successful realization of its mandated mission. The commendation was received by the College President, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, during a commemorative event on July 7, 2023, marking the 52nd Engineering Brigade Philippine Army’s 54th Founding Anniversary with the theme: “52E @54 Transcending as Stronger, United, and Capable Army Engineers in the Pursuit of Proficient and Excellent Service in Eastern Mindanao”. 

The ceremony, graced by distinguished military personnel, esteemed guests, and education leaders, was a testament to the fruitful partnership between Northern Bukidnon State College and the 52nd Engineering Brigade Philippine Army. The heartfelt award presentation acknowledged the school’s unwavering commitment to the 52nd ECB community and its dedication to fostering a culture of patriotism and support. The award was presented by MGEN Proceso S. Rebancos PA, The Chief Engineer; AFP Col Erwin R. Salibad (CE), MNSA PA Deputy Brigade Commander in Operations; and BGEN Francis Marlon S. Wong PA.

The award is a significant milestone for Northern Bukidnon State College reaffirming its vision of providing a holistic and nurturing learning environment while upholding the values of patriotism and service. It also serves as a reminder of the meaningful impact institutions can have in fostering a strong and resilient nation. Indeed, Northern Bukidnon State College continues to be true on its mantra of “Creating Futures, Transforming Lives, Guided by God.”
